Kartuli Geni was founded in America in 2022 with the mission of preserving and promoting Georgian language, culture, traditions, and artistic values within the Georgian diaspora community.
Kartuli Geni became one of the first organizations in America to establish a Georgian-language puppet theater for Georgian children growing up abroad. Through theater, cultural programs, music, educational projects, and creative events, Kartuli Geni creates a meaningful artistic space for immigrant families, children, youth, and adults.
The organization works actively to help new generations growing up in America stay connected to their Georgian roots, language, identity, and cultural heritage. Its vision is deeply connected to preserving Georgian values and passing them on to future generations through art, education, creativity, and community unity.
Nino Imedadze is the Founder and Director of Kartuli Geni. Since 2022, she has led the organization’s mission of preserving and promoting Georgian language, culture, theater, music, and traditions within the Georgian diaspora community in America.
Since 2022, Kartuli Geni has continued to do important cultural and educational work in America for children, immigrant families, artists, and the Georgian community, becoming a creative bridge between Georgian heritage and life abroad.
The organization believes that preserving culture, language, traditions, and national identity is one of the most important responsibilities for future generations living outside of Georgia.
